A million dollar yearling, All Too Hard topped the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale of 2011 and lived up to his good looks winning four Gr1 races and being crowned Australia’s Champion 3YO Colt.

All Too Hard was one of the best 2YOs of his generation winning three of his four juvenile starts, including two Gr2s (VRC Sire Produce 1400m and ATC Pago Pago S. 1200m) prior to a 2^nd in the Gr1 ATC Sires Produce Stakes (to Pierro).

As a Spring 3YO All Too Hard claimed the Caulfield Guineas 1600m Gr1 (beating Pierro) against his own age before a close defeat in the Cox Plate (2^nd to NZ 4yo Ocean Park). As an Autumn 3yo, All Too Hard had matured and proved unbeatable. The Hawkes trained entire won a further three Gr1s against the older horses at WFA over 1400m – the All Aged Stakes, CF Orr Stakes and Futurity Stakes

All Too Hard has a substantial pedigree, one that befits his yearling price. His dam, Helsinge, has left four winners highlighted by unbeaten World Champion Sprinter Black Caviar (Bel Esprit). Second dam is Gr2 winner and Gr1 placed Scandinavia who has also excelled at stud, leaving four Stakes winners headlined by dual Gr1 winner and emerging sire Magnus.

All Too Hard’s sire Casino Prince (Flying Spur) won the Gr1 Chipping Norton and was crowned the Leading First Season sire in 2011/12 and Champion 2^nd Season Sire the following year (even without ATH’s earnings included).

All Too Hard was popular with breeders in his first season and has 145 live foals in his first crop; a phenomenal number (47) were selected for the 2016 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale (making him the leading freshmen sire by lots catalogued and 3^rd overall).

That's not surprising considering Magic Millions sold 100 percent of All Too Hard’s weanling offerings for an average of over $173k in May.
