1st Stakes Win To Fantastic Light

Darley's 6-time Gr1-winning 9YO shuttler Fantastic Light (Rahy-Jood, by Nijinsky) recorded his 1st stakes-winner from his 1st crop when 2YO colt Prince Of Light (Fantastic Light-Miss Queen, by Miswaki) "rang up the hat-trick" with victory in the Gr3 Sirenia Stakes at Newmarket's July Course, reported thoroughbredinternet.com. Prince Of Light (trained by Mark Johnston) defeated Ann Summers Gold (by Yankee Victor) & Art Market (by Giant's Causeway). Prince Of Light (a half-brother to Royal Ascot juvenile winner Chateau Istana) now has 3 wins from 4 starts; he cost €130,000 (A$208,000) at the 2004 Goffs February yearling sale. His dual World Champion sire Fantastic Light stands at Dalham Hall Stud in Newmarket & has shuttled to Darley Australia in the NSW Hunter Valley for his 4th season in 2005; his 1st Southern Hemisphere foals also race this season.
