Primus Wins Ming Dynasty

Arrowfield Stud stallion Flying Spur (Danehill-Rolls, by Mr Prospector) added a black-type success when his lightly-raced colt Primus (Flying Spur-Copa De Oro, by Hector Protector) won the $80,000 Listed Ming Dynasty Quality (1400m) for 3YO colts & geldings at Randwick. Primus (ridden by Glen Boss for trainer John O'Shea) defeated fellow colts Replicator (Danehill-Sitella, by Shirley Heights) & Manton (Danehill-Kensington Gardens, by Grosvenor). Primus (a NZ$120,000 yearling at the 2004 NZ Bloodstock Premier Sale) now has 2 wins & a placing in 3 starts for $68,260 prize-money.
