Wildly Wins Bobbie Lewis

WA-based Durham Lodge stallion Hurricane Sky (Star Watch-Dancing Show, by Nijinsky) added a black-type success when 4YO gelding Wildly (Hurricane Sky-Bourbazam Lass) won a 3-way photo-finish to the $200,000 Gr3 Bobbie Lewis Quality (1200m) for 4YOs & Up at Flemington. Wildly (ridden by Greg Childs for trainer John McArdle) won by a short-head from 5YO Kiwi mare Calveen (Canny Lad-Calvinia, by Varick) with a further half-head to fellow 4YO gelding Classiconi (Bianconi-Classic Lines, by Exit Five B). Wildly (a $52,500 yearling at the 2003 Inglis Premier Sale in Melbourne) now has 5 wins (also including the Listed Creswick Stakes over 1200m at Flemington on June 11) & 5 placings in 15 starts for $423,400 prize-money.
