Wednesday, 7th September 2005

Victoria's Lynden Park shuttler Desert King (Danehill-Sabaah, by Nureyev) also added a European black-type success when last year's Gr1 Moyglare Stud Stakes winner & now 3YO filly Chelsea Rose (Desert King-Cinnamon Rose, by Trempolino) won Ireland's €56,000 (A$90,000) Listed Dance Design Stakes (9 furlongs) at The Curragh. Chelsea Rose (ridden by Pat Shanahan for trainer Con Collins) defeated fellow 3YO fillies Pictavia (Sinndar-Insijaam, by Secretariat) & Adaala (Sahm-Alshoowg, by Riverman). Chelsea Rose now has 5 wins & a placing in 8 starts for €294,430 (A$471,000) prize-money.
