Darley "were active supporting their stallions" & agent Cormac McCormack (bidding on behalf of Darley's bloodstock supremo John Ferguson & Sheikh Mohammed) paid 60,000 guineas (A$156,000) for a 1st-crop son of Dalham Hall Stud-based Gr1 Dewhurst Stakes winner Tobougg, reported racingpost.co.uk. This was "another successful pin-hook as Michael English of Penmarric Stud had paid 35,000 guineas (A$91,000) for the youngster (a relative of Rock Of Gibraltar) as a foal". McCormack summed up: "He's a very, very nice horse & I hope he's as good as his daddy."
