Doncaster Day-2: $187,000 Mind Games Colt

Thursday, 8th September 2005

Angus Gold (buying for Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum) paid 72,000 guineas (A$187,000) for a Mind Games colt (a Bearstone Stud home-bred brother to Hilary Needler Stakes winner On The Brink) reported racingpost.co.uk. Gold commented: "I'm fairly sure that's the 1st Mind Games we have had. He was a bonny horse, out of a mare that has produced 2 stakes horses, & should hopefully make a 2YO & then keep going."
