Doncaster Day-2: $260,000 Danehill Dancer Colt

Irish agent Ross Doyle (buying on behalf of Richard Hannon) out-bid Neville Callaghan & "set the early pace" by paying 100,000 guineas (A$260,000) for a son of Danehill Dancer on Day-2 at the Doncaster Bloodstock St Leger Yearling Sale in England overnight, reported racingpost.co.uk. The colt (consigned by former jockey Mark Dwyer's Oaks Farm Stables) had been previously purchased as a foal for 40,000 guineas (A$104,000).
