New Adena Land Purchased Near Paris

Friday, 9th September 2005

In Kentucky, a "parcel of land in Bourbon County, bought by Frank Stronach's son Andy, could be the 1st of many tracts purchased there & lead to the eventual relocation of the entire Adena Springs Kentucky operation," reported bloodhorse.com. Andy Stronach bought the 1,047 acres (a former cattle & crop farm on Cane Ridge Road & Jackstown Pike northeast of Paris) for US$5.236 million. The current Adena Springs Kentucky operation is based in Woodford County, but in mid-August a 641-acre portion of that property (near Versailles) was sold for US$14.5 million to Jess Jackson & will become part of his Stonestreet Farm. Adena Springs Kentucky manager Dan Hill confirmed: "We're still tossing around ideas. We're looking for more land (in Bourbon County). We're looking to put together a large parcel of land. We have talked about moving everything (to Bourbon County)."
