Doncaster Day-4: $195,000 Traditionally Colt

Agent David Redvers (acting for Nick Littmoden) out-bid fellow agent Oliver St Lawrence & paid top price of 75,000 guineas (A$195,000) for a colt from the 1st crop of Traditionally during the final session at the 4-day Doncaster St Leger Yearling Sale, reported racingpost.co.uk. The colt (offered by his breeder Martin Francis of Ballydrehid Stud in Ireland's County Tipperary) is from Iktidar (by Green Desert), dam of 250,000 guineas (A$650,000) purchase Qadar (sold at the same sale in 2003); & he is a half-brother to stakes-placed Ikun & Valjarv.
