Peintre Celebre Adds French Gr2

In Europe, another former Coolmore shuttler Peintre Celebre (Nureyev-Peinture Bleue, by Alydar) added a major group success when 5YO mare Pride (Peintre Celebre-Specificity, by Alleged) won France's €120,000 (A$192,000) Gr2 Prix Foy Gray D'Albion Barriere (2400m) at Longchamp in Paris. Pride (ridden by Christophe-Patrice Lemaire for trainer Alain de Royer-Dupre) defeated 5YO entire Alkaased (Kingmambo-Chesa Plana, by Niniski) & 4YO entire Shirocco (Monsun-So Sedulous, by The Minstrel). Pride now has 5 wins & 8 placings in 16 starts for €293,768 (A$470,000) prize-money.
