Gr1 Winner Latin American To Victory Rose

US Gr1 winner Latin American (sire of 21 runners who have won or placed in stakes) "has been relocated to Victory Rose Thoroughbreds in California," reported bloodhorse.com. The 17-year-old son of Riverman (out of Mr Prospector mare Clever Dancer) has sired 5 stakes-winners (including Argentine Gr1 winner Oh Take & Brazilian group winner Namoradeira); his stakes-placed runners include Waki American (placed in a pair of graded stakes at Del Mar as a 2YO) & California Derby runner-up Jekyll And Hyde. Latin American has sired the earners of US$5.3 million & "this year ranks among California's leaders by 2YO progeny earnings". On the track, Latin American won the Gr1 Californian Stakes in track-record-equaling time, plus the Gr3 New Orleans Handicap & 2 turf stakes.
