Keeneland Day-3: US$410,000 Stormin Fever Colt

Thursday, 15th September 2005

Rick Porter's Fox Hill Farm paid US$410,000 for a Stormin Fever colt (consigned by Kingswood Farm as agent) who is a full brother to Gr1 winner Tarlow out of stakes-winning Dreadnought mare Madam Bear. Porter's agent John Servis told thoroughbredtimes.com: "I really liked him. He had a beautiful walk to him with nice conformation. It looks like a good family, so I thought we'd take a crack with him." Brereton Jones bred the colt in Kentucky & then sold him as agent to C.K.Equine at the 2004 Keeneland November breeding stock sale for US$105,000.
