Keeneland Day-4: US$700,000 Unbridled's Song Colt

Friday, 16th September 2005

Agent Tim Kegel (acting for an unidentified partnership) paid US$700,000 for an Unbridled's Song colt (out of Gr1-winning Known Fact mare Oath) reported thoroughbredtimes.com. Kegel commented: "He was a beautiful horse with a lot of scope to him. This is a partnership that loves racing & they're just catching their breath right now before deciding what to do with him." The Kentucky-bred colt was consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency; his dam Oath is out of Mr Prospector mare Vue & is from the immediate family of Gr3 winner & sire Country Light. Taylor Made vice president Mark Taylor added: "He's a classic type horse with a ton of scope & he's very correct. He's out of a Known Fact mare, which is the same cross as Banshee Breeze. He's basically the whole package."
