Win By 1st Montjeu Sold In Aust

Meanwhile the 1st ever yearling sold at auction in the Southern Hemisphere by Coolmore's boom 9YO dual-Derby winning sire & former NZ Windsor Park shuttler Montjeu (Sadler's Wells-Floripedes, by Top Ville) won at Doomben in Brisbane. The 3YO filly Sadlers Brigg (Montjeu-Vinci, by Vain) won over 1350m at her 3rd start (following 2 placings in her initial 2 runs over 1000m). Sadlers Brigg was a $105,000 yearling at the 2004 Magic Millions Yearling Sale & is now trained by Bevan Laming.
