Jet Spur Wins Heritage Stakes

Arrowfield Stud stallion Flying Spur (Danehill-Rolls, by Mr Prospector) added another stakes-winner when the colt Jet Spur (Flying Spur-Verocative, by Bletchingly) returned from a 28-week spell for a 1st-up victory in the $120,000 Listed Heritage Stakes (1200m) for 3YOs at Rosehill. Jet Spur (ridden by Len Beasley for trainer John O'Shea) defeated fellow colts Gonski (Danehill-Abonnement, by Marauding) & Impatient Star (Arean-Clarrie's Turn, by Fair Sir). Jet Spur (a $180,000 yearling at the 2004 Inglis Easter Sale) now has 1 win & 1 placing (in the Gr3 Black Opal Stakes) in 4 starts for $110,000 prize-money.
