Wire Detonator Wins Hannan's Handicap

The 5YO gelding Wire Detonator (Tribu-Princess Ifrad) grabbed a thrilling victory in a 3-way photo-finish to the $120,000 Listed Hannan's Handicap (1400m) at Kalgoorlie. Wire Detonator (ridden by Jason Brown for trainer Sharon Miller) won by a short half-head from fellow 5YO gelding Hotel Casuarina (Dauberval-Shades Of Savile) with a further head to 4YO entire Volition (Key Business-Prospect Sky). Wire Detonator now has 8 wins & 4 placings in 14 starts for $199,715 prize-money.
