With a report in yesterday's The Daily Telegraph suggesting Lotteria may back up in Saturday's Gr1 George Main Stakes (which would all but rule her out of the Gr1 Epsom handicap a week later) connections appear to have reconsidered following assessment of the Epsom Handicap weights by Racing NSW's Handicapping Department. Lotteria (a high profile daughter of Arrowfield Stud stallion Redoute's Choice) escaped a penalty for her gritty Gr3 Shannon Stakes victory last Saturday, and in today's The Daily Telegraph, the on-again-off-again Epsom situation for Lotteria is, well, on again.
