Future Broodmare Prospect For Remond

Friday, 23rd September 2005

Leading boutique breeder Catherine Remond, whose horses are located at respected nursery Willow Park in the Hunter Valley, has one of the most sought-after future broodmare prospects in the country. Crevette (Danehill-Twiglet, by Twig Moss) is a full-sister to champion Hong Kong galloper, Fairy King Prawn (winner of nearly $10 million), and a half-sister to local Gr1 Salinger Stakes winner and successful Wattle Brae Stud stallion Easy Rocking. In tonight's Gr2 Bill Stutt Stakes (1600m) at Moonee Valley, stakes winner Crevette tackles last season's STC Gr1 Golden Slipper winner Stratum. Also Gr3 placed in her last start, Crevette is already worth a king's ransom as a future broodmare.
