Tatts Ireland Day-1: $128,000 Marju Colt
New trainer David Myerscough (son of former Goffs boss Philip Myerscough) out-bid Tom Hogan & paid €80,000 (A$128,000) for a Marju colt (consigned by Parkway Farm) reported racingpost.co.uk. Myerscough commented: "At the moment he's not for anyone, but I thought him a smashing horse & the nicest one in the sale. He's got everything including a great step. He's out of a Fairy King mare & has plenty of scope to be a 3YO, but he should have the speed to win as a 2YO."
