Tuesday, 27th September 2005

In Hong Kong, Inglis sale graduates landed a treble at Sha Tin:

  • 5YO Geiger Counter-Scarlet Princess gelding Gold Digger (an $80,000 buy at the 2002 Inglis Breeze-Up Sale) took the opening event; his dam Scarlet Princess is a half-sister to 3 NZ stakes-winners (including The Blonde Bimbo).
  • 6YO Flying Spur-Indexed son Happy Winning (a $230,000 purchase at the 2001 Inglis Easter Sale) won 1st-up for former leading NZ trainer Paul O'Sullivan; he is the 1st foal from Indexed (a full sister to stakes-winner Unison from the family of champion racehorse & sire Zeditave).
  • And lightly-raced Danzero 5YO Qi's Pet (a $50,000 investment at the 2002 Inglis Classic Sale) notched his 2nd win in 9 starts; he is a half-brother to stakes-placed Sir Craiglee & good HK galloper Fantasy (formerly raced in Australia as London Eye), being from Jackson Square mare Sister Mammy.
