Golden Snake stood his initial 4 seasons at England's National Stud in Newmarket & shuttles to Lynden Park Stud in Australia; his oldest European progeny are 2YOs in 2005. Golden Snake's 6 career wins from 15 starts included 4 Gr1s in 3 different countries: France's Gr1 Prix Jean Prat as a 3YO; Germany's Gr1 Europa Preis & Italy's Gr1 Gran Premio del Jockey Club as a 4YO; & France's Gr1 Prix Ganay as a 5YO. He also "scored his best Racing Post rating of 126 when finishing 2nd to Fantastic Light in England's 2001 Gr1 Tattersalls Gold Cup".
