Woodlands Stud sire & former champion 2YO Viscount (Quest For Fame-Antwerp, by Sir Tristram) recorded his 1st stakes-winner when juvenile colt Tarleton (Viscount-Dancing Jester, by Rory's Jester) scored by 0.75-lengths in the $140,000 Gr2 Darley Pago Pago Stakes (1200m) for 2YO colts & geldings at Rosehill. Tarleton (ridden by Rod Quinn for trainer John Hawkes) defeated fast-finishing favoured colt Empires Choice (Redoute's Choice-Rosie's Star, by Star Way) & fellow colt Rubric (Redoute's Choice-Valourina, by Snippets). Tarleton (passed-in for $160,000 as a yearling at the 2005 Inglis Easter Sale) now has 1 win & 1 placing from 4 starts for $106,010 earnings.
