Dangerous Relocates To Greta West

Friday, 7th April 2006

Regally-bred stallion Dangerous (Danehill-Antwerp, by Sir Tristram) will relocate to Victoria's Greta West Stud for the 2006 season in conjunction with Woodlands Stud (which stands his boom half-brother Viscount at stud) & Chatswood Stud (where he has stood up until 2005). A highly precocious 2YO who finished 4th in the Gr1 Golden Slipper Stakes (& also placed in the Gr1 Blue Diamond Stakes, Gr1 VRC Sires Produce Stakes & Gr1 AJC Sires Produce Stakes), Dangerous is the sire of Gr2 VRC Sires Produce Stakes winner Danger Looms (& 4 individual winners already this week). Aided by the large crops of 180 2YOs & yearlings still to come through as a result of his strong support at Chatswood Stud, Dangerous can be assured a strong book of mares at his 2006 fee of $2,200. On Sunday he will be represented by his son Jason (who raced as Deafen in Australia) in the Gr1 Macau Derby.
