US Kentucky: US$460,000 Not For Love Filly

Wednesday, 19th April 2006

Also in early action at Keeneland, Jess Jackson's Stonestreet Stables paid US$460,000 for a Not For Love filly (out of Gr3-winning Red Ransom mare Petrouchka) "that worked 1 furlong in 10.2sec" during the pre-sale breeze-up session, reported thoroughbredtimes.com. Bloodstock advisor John Moynihan (who signed the ticket for Jackson) commented: "She went beautifully on the racetrack. The sire has the ability to get a runner & when you see a horse that looks like her, what can you say. She's big, strong & beautiful." The Maryland-bred filly was consigned by Randy Miles as agent for Eldon Farm Equine (which purchased her for US$110,000 at the 2005 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky July sale of selected yearlings).
