Inglis Easter Day-2: Average Up 55.7%

Overall during last night's 2nd session at the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale, 73 lots sold for $25,380,000 (up 43.9% on last year's 79 sold for $17,640,000). And the $347,671 average was up 55.7% (last year $223,291). With the 2-day cumulative gross reaching $68,710,000 (at an average $286,291) managing director Reg Inglis declared: "I didn't think the $2.5 million record would be broken. Although we were very confident going into this sale, it has way surpassed our wildest expectations. This is the greatest sale we've ever seen."
