Kentucky 2YOs: US$850,000 Distorted Humor Colt
Agent James Conway (acting for William Warren) paid US$850,000 for a Distorted Humor colt (from the Habitony mare Lightly Go Lightly) reported bloodhorse.com. The California-bred colt (consigned by Niall Brennan Stables as agent) worked 1 furlong in 10.6sec during the pre-sale breeze-up session & is a full brother to stakes-winner Crackup. Warren (who campaigned US Horse-Of-The-Year & stallion Saint Liam) commented: "I really liked the way he moved & his pedigree. I saw him on the track & he caught my attention." Mike Ryan originally purchased the colt for US$140,000 at the 2005 Keeneland September yearling sale.
