Inglis Easter Day-3: $750,000 Dehere Filly

Friday, 21st April 2006

BBA Ireland bloodstock agent Adrian Nicoll (acting for the connections of Wednesday's Gr1 AJC Oaks winner Serenade Rose) paid $750,000 for a Dehere filly (the 5th foal from Zabeel mare Mohave Dancer) consigned by Coolmore Stud as agent. Nicoll confirmed:"They're great guys who own Serenade Rose & we've had a great deal of fun. This filly is for the same connections. She's beautiful looking, great conformation, very athletic & just a lovely filly. She was 1 of our picks of the sale & I think 1 of the nicest around. She's great residual value too." Stakes-winner Mohave Dancer has had 3 foals race for 2 winners, including: 8-time victor (from 1000-2400m) & $1,242,180-earner Natural Blitz (whose victories include the Gr2 Hill Stakes, Gr2 Tulloch Stakes, Gr2 Shannons Classic, Gr2 Feehan Stakes, Gr2 O'Shea Stakes & listed Wagga Cup, plus runner-up in the Gr1 Australian Cup & Listed Sky High Stakes, as well as 3rd in the Gr1 Doomben Cup, Gr2 Chelmsford Stakes, Gr3 Craven Plate, Listed NZ Auckland Handicap & Listed Interlink Stakes); & triple-winning $600,711-earner Super Blitz.
