Inglis Easter Final Average Up 40%

Overall during the 3-day Inglis Easter Yearling Sale, 403 lots sold for a cumulative $117,130,000 (up 29% on last year's previous record despite the stream-lined catalogue) & the $288,497 average was up 40%. In addition 14 yearlings sold for $1 million or more (8 last year) & the clearance rate was 90%. Managing director Reg Inglis summed up: "This has been absolutely amazing! It is the greatest sale ever held in this part of the world."
