Chickaloo Wins Tokyo City Cup

Former Coolmore shuttler Sri Pekan (Red Ransom-Lady Godolphin, by Son Ange) added a black-type success when 5YO gelding Chickaloo (Sri Pekan-Potent, by Bletchingly) scored a 1.25-lengths win in the $75,000 Listed Tokyo City Cup (1600m) at Morphettville. Chickaloo (ridden by Dominic Tourneur for trainer Darryl Carrison) defeated Plans (Strategic-Sardaffe, by Air De France) & Juggle The Books (Jugah-Suliere, by Shy Rambler). Chickaloo now has 10 wins (also including the Listed Schweppervessence Adelaide Stakes over 1600m in March & Listed Mistral Classic over 1600m in November) & 12 placings (including the Listed Murray Bridge Cup in October, Gr3 Sandown Stakes in November, Listed O.J.Smith Challenge also in November & Listed New Year's Gift in February) from 33 starts for $219,515 prize-money.
