Richardson Closing Mornington Stable

Monday, 24th April 2006

NZ trainer Graham Richardson "is closing down his Mornington stable (in Victoria) in order to concentrate on his Matamata operation," reported thoroughbrednews.co.nz. Richardson "found the travelling between the trans-Tasman stables too taxing" & confirmed: "I've sold my property at Mornington. It's hard being in 2 places at once. The Mornington stable has served its purpose & I've had 40 winners over there since it opened 5 years ago." Richardson currently has 25 horses in work at Matamata.
