Freestone Announces New Danehill Stallion

Meanwhile, newly established Freestone Valley View Stud in Queensland has announced that a third stallion will join the property for the 2006 season. First season sire St. Pirian (Danehill-Duchy of Cornwell) will join Irish Royal and Kbenjar at Debbie & David Bilbrough's Freestone Valley View Stud on the Queensland Darling Downs. St. Pirian is a half-brother to stakes winners Civil List, Lands End and Newquay. His 2 wins and 5 placings from just 14 runs included a 2nd placing in the 2004 Gr3 Canberra Black Opal Stakes at just his 3rd race start as a 2YO.  His full-brother Point of Honour who is currently being trained by Alan Bailey at the Gold Coast, placed 2nd in the 2004 Gr3 AJC Frank Packer Plate & 4th in the 2004 STC Tulloch Stakes. A well-conformed individual, St. Pirian will stand his debut season at $3,300. Freestone Valley View is also offering all mares booked into either St. Pirian, Irish Royal or Kbenjar 45 days free agistment.
