Racing To Win's Weanling Brother For Sale
Meanwhile, another lot set to turn heads is a weanling half-brother to the outstanding Gr1 AJC Doncaster Handicap winner Racing to Win. By Tale of the Cat, the youngster is a full-brother to a yearling which made $700,000 to the bid of John Foote a couple of months ago. The colt is being consigned by Toowoomba based Oaklands Stud, acting as agent. "He is a lovely weanling," Oaklands' Neville Stewart said. "And he will make into a top yearling." The colt is the latest foal from the Kenny's Best Pal mare Surrealist. She was recently purchased by Coolmore's Tom Magnier for a Magic Millions record price of $1.6 million. "The colt is part of a group of horses being sold to dissolve a partnership," Stewart reported. "He and the others are there for genuine sale." Magic Millions managing director David Chester said the August Thoroughbred Sale was shaping as an important sale. "These two horses will attract plenty of attention," Chester said. "But there will be plenty of other lovely horses including some exceptionally well related fillies and mares."
