1st Winner For US Sire A.P.Valentine

Gr1-winning US sire A.P.Valentine (A.P.Indy-Twenty Eight Carat, by Alydar) recorded his 1st winner when 2YO debutante filly Higgie (A.P.Valentine-Aces, by Housebuster) scored by 3.25-lengths over 5 furlongs at Monmouth Park, reported bloodhorse.com. A.P.Valentine stands at Cedar Creek Farm in Texas & has just 9 foals of racing age in his initial 2 crops (7 are 2YOs this year, of which Higgie is the 1st starter); he has just 1 starter from his 1st crop. A.P.Valentine won the 2000 Gr1 Champagne Stakes as a 2YO & finished runner-up in both the Gr1 Preakness Stakes & Gr1 Belmont Stakes as a 3YO; overall he earned US$864,170 on the track.
