Kentucky Yearlings Day-1: US$310k Hook And Ladder Filly

Ahmed Zayat's Zayat Stable also paid US$310,00 for a Hook And Ladder filly (out of unraced Pine Bluff mare Guilty Pleasure) already named Gullible Gal, reported thoroughbredtimes.com. The New York-bred filly (consigned by Burleson Farm as agent) is a half-sister to this season's Gr2 Fantasy Stakes winner Ready To Please. She is from the 1st crop of 9YO Gr2 winner Hook And Ladder (by Dixieland Band) who won the 2001 Gr2 Gulfstream Park Breeders' Cup Sprint Stakes & 2002 Gr3 Mr Prospector Handicap. Zayat also purchased the filly's 2YO half-sister (by Officer) for US$230,000 at the Ocala Breeders' Sale Co March Selected 2YOs-In-Training Sale.
