In South America, Haras La Biznaga home-bred Stormy Nimble (Bernstein-South Nina, by Southern Halo) "began her Southern Hemisphere sophomore season with a determined victory in Argentina's Gr1 Gran Premio 1000 Guineas-Consagracion de Potrancas (1600m on turf) for 3YO fillies at Hipodromo San Isidro," reported thoroughbredtimes.com. Stormy Nimble (ridden by Jorge Valdivieso for trainer Roberto Bullrich) "shook off all challengers in the stretch to prevail by a head over a late-rallying" Emotion Parade & Miss Clette. At her previous start, Stormy Nimble had won Argentina's Gr1 Gran Premio Eliseo Ramirez at San Isidro in April & overall now has 3 wins from 5 starts.
