Oonagh Maccool Retired & Heads To Unbridled's Song

In the US, multiple Gr2-winning 5YO mare Oonagh Maccool (Giant's Causeway-Alidiva, by Chief Singer) has been retired "with a saucer fracture to her left front cannon bone" & "will go to Taylor Made Farm in Kentucky, where she is expected to be bred to Unbridled's Song," reported thoroughbredtimes.com. Oonagh Maccool (a half-sister to Last Tycoon's multiple Gr1-winning European high-weight Taipan, as well as Gr1 winners Ali-Royal & Sleepytime) won 5 of 9 starts (including her initial 2 races in the UK before travelling to the US, where she added the 2006 Gr2 Rampart Handicap at Gulfstream Park & Gr2 Louisville Breeders' Cup Handicap at Churchill Downs) for US$379,528 earnings.
