Pins Fee Up 100% To NZ$50k

In New Zealand, Waikato Stud "has been one of the quickest out of the blocks to announce stallion service fees for the 2007 breeding season," reported breednet.com.au. Star sire Pins (Snippets-No Finer, by Kaoru Star) "will have his fee doubled" to NZ$50,000+GST; Gr1 Cox Plate winner Savabeel (Zabeel-Savannah Success, by Success Express) remains at NZ$35,000+GST; consistent O'Reilly (Last Tycoon-Courtza, by Pompeii Court) will stand for NZ$18,000+GST (up 50%); No Excuse Needed (Machiavellian-Nawaiet, by Zilzal) will stand for NZ$12,000+GST (up 20%); & Scaredee Cat (Tale Of The Cat-Last Lady, by Centaine) will stand at NZ$5,000+GST. The service fee for Fast 'N' Famous (Redoute's Choice-Zalinda, by Zabeel) will be announced upon his retirement. Waikato Stud's Mark Walker commented: "This early announcement was prompted by the huge demand from Australasian breeders."
