Cinque Cento Wins JRA Stakes

Byerley Stud stallion Nothin' Leica Dane (Danehill-Leica Pretender, by Sir Tristram) added a black-type success when 5YO mare Cinque Cento (Nothin' Leica Dane-Laydown Misere, by Varick) scored a 1-length victory in the $100,000 Listed JRA Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield. Cinque Cento (ridden by Damien Oliver for trainer Peter Moody) defeated 4YO gelding Stickpin (Pins-Reputedly, by Quest For Fame) & 6YO gelding Let Go Thommo (Laranto-Memory True, by Is It True). Cinque Cento (sold for $255,000 at the 2006 Magic Millions National Sale) now has 3 wins (also including the 2005 Gr3 Doomben Roses over 2020m) & 5 placings from 19 starts for $279,430 earnings.
