Inglis Melb Day-3: $125k General Nediym Filly

Wednesday, 7th March 2007

In the Australian sales ring, South Australian trainer Tom Dabernig paid the Day-3 top price of $125,000 for a filly by Widden Stud sire General Nediym (the 2nd foal out of Jeune mare Noble Glow) during yesterday's 1-day Inglis Premier II Yearling Sale (following the 2-day Premier Sale) at the Oaklands Complex in Melbourne. The filly was consigned by Glentree Downs & Dabernig declared: "I reckon she's a lovely type & I was prepared to wait until the last day for her. My uncle Peter Hayes trained the filly's dam Noble Glow & she won 5 races for him, so we're quite familiar with the family." Noble Glow is also a full-sister to 7-time-winner & stakes-placed Jurlique.
