US Stallion Symphony Sid Retired To Stand In Venezuela

US 7YO stallion Symphony Sid (Unbridled-Happy Tune, by A.P.Indy) "has been retired & will begin stud duty at Haras Oropal in Venezuela," reported thoroughbredtimes.com. Bred in Kentucky by William Farish & Ogden Phipps, Symphony Sid won 5 of 23 starts (topped by a front-running victory over 12 furlongs in a stakes-record 2min 24.18 sec in last year's Gr3 Carleton Burke Handicap during the Oak Tree meeting at Santa Anita Park). Symphony Sid is a grandson of champion producer Hum Along & a half-brother to multiple Gr3-winner & Gr2-placed High Cotton (who earned US$456,044).
