NZ Derby Winner's Dam In-Foal To Stratum

Following last weekend's victory by Australian-bred 3YO colt Redoute's Dancer (Redoute's Choice-Condescendance, by El Gran Senor) in the Gr1 NZ Derby (2400m) at Ellerslie in Auckland, Widden Stud reports his dam Condescendance is among 188 mares covered by Gr1 Golden Slipper-winning Stratum (Redoute's Choice-Bourgeois, by Luskin Star) at the NSW Hunter Valley-based stud last spring & Condescendance has been confirmed in-foal. Redoute's Dancer (a $230,000 yearling at the 2005 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast) boasts 4 wins (also including the Gr2 Mercedes Championship Stakes over 2100m at Ellerslie on February 17) & 2 runner-ups from 7 starts.
