Kingston Park Studs sire King Of Roses (Fairy King-Stellar Spirit, by Risen Star) notched his 1st stakes-winner when daughter Rose Ceremony (King Of Roses-Ceremonial Dancer, by Coronation Day) scored a 0.75-lengths victory in the $150,000 Gr3 TBV Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes (1200m) for 2YO fillies at Caulfield. Rose Ceremony (ridden by Chris Symons for trainer Matt Ellerton) defeated Chinamora (Danehill Dancer-Rainscene, by Scenic) & Smile Of Desire (Red Ransom-Miss Marbles, by Lure). Rose Ceremony now has 1 win & 3 runner-ups (including the Listed Talindert Stakes over 1000m at Moonee Valley on February 5) from 4 starts for $123,100 earnings.
