Good Report Wins Gr1 Latinoamericano

In South America, boom 3YO colt Good Report (Ride The Rails-Good Pearl, by Senor Pete) "romped to victory over his older rivals at Hipodromo La Plata in Argentina to give Uruguay its 1st win in the Gr1 Gran Premio Asociacion Latinoamericana de Jockey Clubes (2100m), South America's most important weight-for-age event," reported thoroughbredtimes.com. Argentine-bred Good Report (ridden by Jorge Ricardo for trainer Luis Alberto Belela) "breezed by pacesetters nearing the final turn to take command in early stretch & score by 4-lengths" from 6YO mare Loca Amy (Peru's champion older mare on both dirt & turf) & Argentine-bred Hampon in the 15-horse field. At his previous start Good Report had blitzed his older rivals by 6-lengths in Uruguay's most important race, the Gr1 Gran Premio Jose Pedro Ramirez (2400m) at Maronas on January 6 & overall now boasts 4 wins from 6 starts.
