Aaron Kennedy Dies In Sydney Hospital
Former jockey Aaron Kennedy has died aged 34 in Sydney's Prince Of Wales Hospital after being admitted to the intensive care unit last week. The hospital confirmed his family has requested further details be kept private. Kennedy was a successful Sydney rider before being banned twice for cannabis use in the 1990s; he subsequently moved to Queensland & won the 2003 Gold Coast premiership, before his licence was again suspended after a positive cannabis test.
