Old Deuteronomy At Inglis Sale Instead Of US Stud

Friday, 23rd March 2007

Old Deuteronomy (the 6YO Storm Cat horse scheduled to begin his stallion career at Walmac Farm in Kentucky this season) "has instead been consigned to public auction at next month's Inglis Select Broodmare Sale" in Sydney, reported thoroughbredtimes.com. Scone-based agent Lincoln Farm has entered Old Deuteronomy (Storm Cat-Jewel In The Crown, by Seeking The Gold) in the Inglis sale. Old Deuteronomy finished runner-up as a Ballydoyle-trained 2YO in the 2003 Irish Gr1 Phoenix Stakes & also 2nd in the English Gr2 Richmond Stakes for trainer Aidan O'Brien & owner Susan Magnier. He later raced in the US & finished 2nd in the 2005 Sea O Erin Breeders' Cup Mile Handicap at Arlington Park.
