Blue Sky Joins Palmaday Board

Queensland's Beaudesert-based Palmaday Stud has appointed Gold Coast bloodstock experts Blue Sky Thoroughbreds (launched this year by Julian Blaxland & Mark Sowerby) to its newly-formed advisory board. Palmaday manager Jim Buchanan said Blue Sky "will offer independent bloodstock advice, evaluation & assessment of existing broodmares & foals, sourcing & evaluation of new bloodstock, advice & planning on strategy & marketing, & identify commercial opportunities for the stud farm". Palmaday (owned by Tony Rae) now covers 700 acres & has 4 stallions in residence, including newly acquired 4YO Dr Green (Fusaichi Pegasus-Palia, by Last Tycoon) along with Mianardi (Boundary-Yarn, by Mr Prospector), King Of Happiness (Spinning World-Mystery Rays, by Nijinsky) & Significant Hill (Danehill-Significant Moment, by Bletchingly).
