Inglis March 92% Clearance

Monday, 26th March 2007

Cumulatively during the Inglis March Thoroughbred Sale, 313 lots sold for $1,660,000 at an average $5,304 & a median $2,200. Inglis director Peter Heagney summed up: "The March Sale complements our Great Southern Sale in June in that it offers vendors the opportunity to disperse their bloodstock at a well-known & highly-publicised venue. And it was proven, once more, that quality will attract the buyers as was the case with the $80,000 for Legal Thrills. Indeed, this was one of the strongest 'racehorse' sales seen in Victoria for quite some time & competition was spirited on most lots. That's fairly indicative from a remarkable clearance of 92% & vendors should be applauded for their willingness to meet the market & boost buyer confidence."
