Danehill Dancer Adds Irish Black-Type

Monday, 2nd April 2007

In Ireland overnight, Coolmore shuttler Danehill Dancer (Danehill-Mira Adonde, by Sharpen Up) added a black-type success when 4YO mare Anna Pavlova (Danehill Dancer-Wheeler's Wonder, by Sure Blade) blitzed her rivals by 5-lengths in the €75,000 (A$120,000) Listed Salsabil Stakes (10 furlongs) for fillies & mares on a heavy track at Navan. Anna Pavlova (ridden by Paul Hanagan for trainer Richard Fahey) defeated Bon Nuit (Night Shift-Pray, by Priolo) & Tartouche (Pursuit Of Love-Megan's Flight, by Welsh Pageant). Last season Anna Pavlova also won the UK Listed Harvest Stakes (12 furlongs) against older rivals at Ascot & UK Listed Galtres Stakes (12 furlongs) at York, plus finished runner-up in both the Gr2 Park Hill Stakes (14 furlongs) at York & Listed Severals Stakes (10 furlongs) at Newmarket.
