Creachadoir Wins Gr3 Irish 2000 Guineas Trial

Tuesday, 10th April 2007

In Ireland former Darley shuttler King's Best (Kingmambo-Allegretta, by Lombard) sired another Group winner when the Jim Bolger-trained 3YO colt Creachadoir (King's Best-Sadima, by Sadler's Wells) ran out an emphatic 3.5 lengths winner of the €80,000 (A$131,000) Gr3 2000 Guineas Trial Stakes (1 mile) at Leopardstown. In an all Darley-sired trifecta, Creachadoir (ridden by Kevin Manning) defeated fellow colts Confuchias (Cape Cross-Schust Madame, by Second Set) and Summit Surge (Noverre-Lady Peculiar, by Sunshine). Creachadoir's dam is a half-sister to Gr1 Breeders Cup Turf & Gr1 Japan Cup winner Pulsidski.
